Welcome to Backgammon Battles (“the Service,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction (and at least 18) to create an account. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service is lawful where you live. One account per person.
Backgammon Battles is a skill-based backgammon competition platform. You play matches against other people and computer opponents and compete for ranking, trophies, league standing, and Battle Bucks.
Battle Bucks are a virtual, in-app currency used to enter certain competitions. Battle Bucks have no monetary value, cannot be redeemed, withdrawn, transferred for money, or exchanged for cash or any cash equivalent. Purchases of Battle Bucks are final and non-refundable except where required by law. We do not offer cash prizes or cash payouts of any kind.
You agree not to cheat, use bots or external assistance in human matches, exploit bugs, collude, manipulate ratings, or interfere with other players. Dice are generated server-side and the game state is server-authoritative; attempting to tamper with gameplay is prohibited and may result in suspension or termination.
You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure. We offer optional two-factor authentication and recommend enabling it. You may close your account at any time from your profile; closing anonymizes your identifying information while we retain transactional records as required for our records and legal obligations.
You agree not to harass other users, post unlawful or abusive content in chat, or use the Service for any illegal purpose. We may remove content and suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
We send account and security related (transactional) emails as part of providing the Service. Marketing emails are sent only if you opt in, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
We may update these Terms; material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
